In this video, which is a quick demonstration of light and shadow on a toned paper, you can learn how to deal with values. It's crucial to maintain always the flow and structure of shapes while you're thinking also about "Chiaroscuro" and "Edges", hence, the diversity and economy of line are extremely important in this case. What's more, I also added a kind of atmosphere to my drawing to make it more engaging and attractive, consequently, I also was trying to arrange shapes, shadows, etc, so that they create a balanced and fluid composition.
